Meftah Uddin, Midwest IAC Member, Honored for Engineering Excellence

Meftah Uddin, a distinguished member of the Midwest Industrial Assessment Center, has been recognized for his exemplary contributions to engineering. The Midwest IAC is funded by the Advanced Manufacturing Office, under the Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy (EREE) of the Department of Energy (DOE). Since its inception in 2006, IAC has conducted assessments at over 325 industrial facilities. The DOE grant financing the operation of the center has been recently renewed for the 2022-2026 period. Currently, the program supports 39 IACs at participating universities nationwide as shown in the map below.
